Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Gadsden, Alabama.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position, working 40 hours per week, with a shift of 8 hours per day, 4 days a week. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all the duties required of a MRI Technologist II.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol, including placing specified coils close to the area of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety, including explaining safety protocol and monitoring patients via closed circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
  • 2 years of hospital experience in a clinical area, with EP preferred.
