As a Family Medicine Resident, you will operate under the guidance of the Physician Site Lead, delivering essential medical and basic surgical care to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments while ensuring thorough documentation.
- Coordinating medical, surgical, and ancillary services to optimize patient outcomes efficiently.
- Developing comprehensive treatment plans that may involve therapy, medication, dietary adjustments, or surgical interventions.
- Monitoring patient recovery and making referrals to specialists based on your assessments.
- Opportunities to engage in outpatient care or a blend of inpatient and outpatient services.
- Graduation from an accredited osteopathic medical institution.
- Completion of annual fire/safety and other required educational training.
- Participation in mandatory educational sessions as per hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Fulfillment of annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) to maintain licensure and board certification.
- Timely completion of assigned Computer-Based Learning modules.
