Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, providing preventative maintenance services, and assisting customers with roadside services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, providing a positive experience and ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our equipment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and day better.
Requirements
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in close quarters.
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
