Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of exams for departments within Avera St. Anthony's Hospital and Avera Medical Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform exams for departments within Avera St. Anthony's Hospital and Avera Medical Group.
  • Process studies electronically to ensure accurate and timely report turnaround.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including general equipment cleaning, supply inventory, and quality control.
  • Uphold patient safety and exam quality utilizing ALARA standards and follow guidelines set forth by the State of Nebraska Health Department (NDHHS) and in accordance with 180 NAC and departmental policies.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or a certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology is required.
  • Ultrasound ARDMS or ARRT Sonography is preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Licensure in the state of Nebraska.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Work Environment

Avera St. Anthony's Hospital is a critical access hospital with 25 beds, a new ER, 3 OR rooms, 2 procedure rooms, and an attached clinic. We offer a variety of shifts to fit your lifestyle, including varied day shifts and occasional nights and weekends as needed.
