Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team at Staff Financial Group in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel-powered vehicles, including trucks, buses, and heavy equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn parts, such as filters, belts, and hoses.
  • Test and adjust systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate with other team members, including drivers and supervisors, to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification or degree in diesel mechanics preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
