About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Inc. As a Lead Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Professional Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and their visitors, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Control Access: Manage access to client sites or facilities through the admittance process, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
  • Observe and Report: Monitor and report any incidents or suspicious activity, preparing logs and reports as necessary.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond to emergency situations in accordance with established procedures, ensuring the safety of clients and personnel.
  • Participate in Training: Participate in extensive training on client protocols, ensuring a thorough understanding of site-specific procedures.
  • Oversee Security Officers: Supervise and oversee the activities of Security Officers, ensuring they meet attendance, call-off, and professional appearance standards.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: 3+ years of customer service experience required.
  • Supervisory Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Security Experience: 2+ years of security experience required.
  • Additional Qualifications: Prior military or law enforcement experience encouraged to apply. Candidates with prior medical field experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Age: At least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable Transportation: Reliable means of communication and transportation required.
  • Legal Right to Work: Legal right to work in the United States required.
  • Language Skills: Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English required.
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: COVID-19 vaccine and flu vaccine required.
