About the Position
FIRE is searching for a motivated and detail-oriented law student to join our team as a Hugh and Hazel Darling Foundation Legal Intern. This is a 10-week paid internship that runs from June through August in our Philadelphia office.

Responsibilities
The Legal Intern will engage in various tasks, including investigating off-campus free expression matters, conducting legal research, drafting letters defending First Amendment rights, and attending virtual webinars and meetings. They will also have the opportunity to contribute to FIRE's Newsdesk and participate in seminars with FIRE's leadership and other experts on civil liberties.

Requirements
Candidates must be rising 2Ls or rising 3Ls at an ABA-accredited California law school and have excellent academic credentials, a passion for FIRE's mission, and strong research and writing skills.
