Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team at STERIS. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the installation of medical equipment, including sterilizers, lights/booms, and utility connections, in various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Installation Project Managers to schedule product installation and ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers.
  • Verify rough-in dimensions and utilities to ensure adequate support for equipment specifications.
  • Perform installation of STERIS products, including uncrating, assembling, setting, leveling, connecting utilities, and testing units.
  • Complete service documentation electronically and ensure customer satisfaction through post-installation activities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of recent mechanical experience in a construction or HVAC installation/repair field or Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or similar degree, plus 1+ year(s) of related mechanical experience.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills, excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills, and proficiency in computers and Windows software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes outside normal business hours, and travel extensively to support business needs.
