Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the State of Florida. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our residents.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for administering medications, giving direct care to residents, and completing diagnostic procedures as requested by the attending physician. You will work under the direct supervision of the Senior Registered Nurse Supervisor and be responsible for supervising subordinates on assigned units.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications and give direct care to residents
- Complete diagnostic procedures as requested by the attending physician
- Supervise subordinates on assigned units
- Review and follow-up on resident incidents or complaints
- Count narcotics at beginning and end of shift
- Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for assigned shift
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays
- Must possess a current Florida Registered Nurse License
- Must possess a current CPR certification
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in long-term care or 120 bed skilled nursing facility
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with medication administration
