Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (shifts range from 9-12 hours)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program
  • Current veterinary technician licensure
  • Completion of the required amount of continuing education hours to maintain licensure
