About the Role

Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist and Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing routine x-ray examinations and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms and providing verbal and written instructions.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report any malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow all radiology workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
  • Perform medical assistant duties, including preparing patients for physical examinations, taking vital signs, and performing rapid screening tests.
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatments, and apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the treating clinician.
  • Dispense medications and DME as ordered by the treating clinician, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
