Job Summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Health Services Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our treatment centers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision to nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, to ensure continuity of care and adherence to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to promote patient health and well-being.
  • Manage the recruitment, payroll, and performance process for nursing staff under your supervision.
  • Administer or oversee the administration of medications, as directed by physicians, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
  • Ensure the accurate and secure storage of medications and maintain inventory levels.
  • Implement and oversee the implementation of infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and confidentiality policies.
  • Track and oversee the tracking of medical paperwork, including patient dose changes, lab results, physician orders, and phase/level changes.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and protect clinical pharmacy and treatment center operations by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Promote the delivery of quality care to patients by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, and complying with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Ensure the pharmacy is opened and closed in accordance with policy, staffing protocols are followed, and the nursing schedule is established.
  • Document patient care services using best charting practices and oversee the integrity of all other medical chartings.
  • Schedule and screen patients for medical director appointments and assist with History and Physical assistance as needed.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and staff meetings, and report any significant fee collection variances to the program director.
  • Monitor and track the Prescription Monitoring Program with medical director approval, and provide HIV, Pregnancy, TB, and as needed medical information to patients and staff.
  • Complete documented weekly supervision with nursing staff members, coordinate care with outside physicians, and immediately report any concerns to the program director.
  • Provide training and continuing education to nurses and provide direct supervision of the lead nurse and other nursing staff in the center.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of progressive professional-level experience in the nursing field, with previous nursing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and skill in the application of professional nursing theory, working knowledge of opiate addiction, and infection control.
  • Ability to perform assessments and nursing functions acquired in the basic nursing preparation program.
  • Advanced mathematics ability needed to maneuver through daily medications, inventory, and fee collection balancing.
  • Language ability to read, analyze, and interpret general healthcare journals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports and medical correspondence, effectively present information, and respond to questions from staff and outside agencies.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% and work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
