Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes industrial engineering principles and methodologies to optimize products, processes, and services, addressing program requirements of moderate complexity.
  • Develops and maintains facility layouts, capacity planning, safety measures, and operational workflows. Evaluates new methodologies and technological advancements for incorporation into production and service processes.
  • Designs, maintains, and enhances production systems by harmonizing design, supply chain, facilities, equipment, and workforce.
  • Conducts workflow design and analysis.
  • Creates moderately complex models, databases, and spreadsheets for data analysis, providing summary insights and metrics for leadership consultation.
  • Assists in the research, design, development, enhancement, and implementation of processes and tools aimed at improving schedule efficiency, reducing costs, and elevating quality for large-scale systems integration and asset utilization.
  • Formulates and executes plans for facility modifications and revisions to operational methods.
  • Provides assembly instructions and standardizes assembly procedures. Prepares operational plans, including work statement analysis, budgeting, forecasts, capacity assessments, and production adjustments to meet technical objectives.
  • Supports execution planning through project management, planning, scheduling, and shop load practices.
  • Offers production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility, and recovery planning support of moderate complexity.
  • Ensures compliance with established industry safety standards, design regulations, and ergonomic guidelines.

This position must comply with Export Control requirements, necessitating a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §. A "US Person" includes US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • 1 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or production environment.
  • 1 or more years of experience in defining, developing, implementing, or enhancing production processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • 1 or more years of experience in a collaborative team environment.
  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing standard processes.
  • Proficient in structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and simulation methodologies.

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Senior: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
