Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Neuro Stepdown Full Time Nights position at Delray Medical Center is a critical role in providing high-quality patient care. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, integrating nursing processes, and ensuring the delivery of safe, cost-effective, and total nursing care to all patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- For telemetry and higher acuity units, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification and basic EKG interpretation skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
