Role Overview
We are seeking accomplished senior research scientists to enhance our capabilities in content comprehension. This role is crucial in advancing our understanding of diverse content types, including computer vision (CV), natural language processing (NLP), and multimodal learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to design innovative multimodal models that integrate CV, NLP, and audio data.
- Develop scalable classifiers and predictive algorithms for big data analysis across various domains.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement model pipelines and ensure large-scale deployment.
- Work alongside product teams to define goals and refine our trust and safety strategies.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with at least 2 years in content understanding fields.
- Expertise in multimodal understanding, including video representation learning and temporal action localization.
- Proficiency in vision-language tasks such as image/video captioning and retrieval.
- Familiarity with large language model adaptation techniques.
- Strong coding and debugging skills in Python, with experience in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
- Ability to communicate complex research to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of the content understanding domain and the ability to think critically about challenges.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within agile environments.
- A track record of research contributions evidenced by publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences.
