Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students within our local school district.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Evaluation: Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  2. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  3. Therapy Services: Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
  5. Progress Monitoring: Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records in compliance with state regulations.
  7. Professional Development: Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  2. Licensure: Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Maryland (MD).
  3. Certification: Certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools (or eligibility for certification).
  4. Professional Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
  5. Experience: Experience working with students in educational settings is preferred but not required.
  6. Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
