Seldovia Village Tribe IRA is seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team at SVT Health & Wellness. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical quality improvement initiatives, and promoting integration of complementary medicine with a focus on whole-person care.

• Develop, monitor, and adopt clinical standards to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in weekly meetings to discuss clinical quality improvement, risk management, and other important topics
• Provide medical consultation to providers in person, by telephone, or email
• Interface with the medical community to enhance collaborative working relationships and address inter-agency needs and issues
• Assist in development and monitoring of risk management program for SVT Health & Wellness
• Maintain strict confidentiality for all clients and their families and health center information
• Protect the security of all patient, medical/dental, records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained following HIPAA and PPI regulations

• Successful completion of an approved Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in area of chosen specialty
• At least 3 years' experience in a clinical setting
• Maintain an active physician license with the State of Alaska and an active DEA license
• Must be able to wear protective articles such as latex or rubber gloves, eye-wear, and personal fitted respirator
