Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement nursing care plans
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
- AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period
- ACLS and PALS certification requirement should be completed prior to the end of orientation
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
