About the RoleGraphic World, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Developmental Editor to join our Content Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality educational content and assessments for higher education and adult learning.
Key Responsibilities- Content Development: Ensure that all content conforms to supplied templates and formatting guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough quality checks on content and assessments written by freelance subject matter experts and writers.
- Project Management: Manage select projects, including communicating with customers, monitoring costs, and ensuring timely project completion.
- Research and Writing: Conduct research and write summary reports of printed journal articles.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience: Previous professional assessment writing experience or project management experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Track Changes, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, writing, and organizational skills.
- Experience: 1+ year's experience in publishing, education, or training.
- Education: Degree or working toward a degree in instructional design, education, or curriculum development.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Soft Skills: Prior customer service or project management experience, fluency in a foreign language, and strong attention to detail.
