Job Summary:

The Delivery Driver position at Capitol Building Supply is a critical role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle to deliver building materials to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the vehicle before each use to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload building materials from the vehicle, taking care to secure them properly to prevent damage or loss.
  • Deliver materials to customers in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Requirements:

  • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience driving a commercial motor vehicle is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
