We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Cardiac Telemetry at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor and maintain cardiac drips, chest tubes, incision sites, and cardiac rhythms, utilizing best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence within the organization.
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina, required.
- One year of relevant experience in cardiac care or telemetry, preferred.
- Ability to manage cardiac patients, previous experience caring for critical care patients, and knowledge of EKG rhythms, required.
- Previous applicable progressive/telemetry and/or critical care experience, preferred.
