We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist I to join our team at Saint Francis Health System. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities- Review medication orders for safety and appropriateness prior to dispensing or administration.
- Enter or verify orders that have been entered into the hospital information system.
- Prepare or directly supervise the preparation of medication prior to dispensing, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Provide drug information or education to patients and staff upon request.
- Perform other duties as required and permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy as a Doctor of Pharmacy.
- 0 - 6 months related experience.
You will work directly with patients and/or customers, as well as other healthcare professionals and staff. This is a safety-sensitive position, and you will be required to adhere to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act.
