Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our front-end team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Assist customers with questions or concerns, and escalate issues as needed.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions at the checkout.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including regular cleaning and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure department tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Experience: Prior experience working a front-end register is preferred.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of common retail procedures such as returns, coupons, and security procedures.
- Motivation: Motivated to continually learn and grow within the company.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Standing: Regular standing, reaching, and turning.
- Equipment Operation: Equipment operation including scanner, register, check approval machine, and coupon machine.
- Mental Tasks: Mental tasks such as decision-making, social skills, memorization, reading, writing, and basic math.
Location: County Market Hudson. Position functions and requirements may vary by store location.
