Position Overview

Join a dedicated team at Sky View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, where we prioritize exceptional care and support for our residents.

Job Highlights:

  • Shifts Available: Day (7am - 3pm), Evening (3pm - 11pm), Night (11pm - 7am)
  • Compensation: Starting at $21.67/hr, increasing to $22.07/hr after 60 days, with additional shift differentials
  • Per Diem Rate: $25.07/hr for non-union positions

Role Responsibilities:

  • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is essential in delivering high-quality healthcare, ensuring the dignity and independence of our residents.
  • Provide daily nursing care in accordance with established protocols and maintain accurate documentation of resident care.
  • Foster a calm and supportive environment throughout the unit during your shift.
  • Assist residents during meal times, including preparation, serving, and feeding as necessary.
  • Regularly check on residents to ensure their personal care and hygiene needs are met, including assistance with bathing.
  • Support residents with transportation, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transferring as required.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and report any changes in their condition without delay.
  • Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure as instructed.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid CNA Certification in New York State.
  • Passionate about providing compassionate care to residents.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, with a commitment to quality care.
  • Genuine interest in assisting residents who may be ill, injured, or facing challenges.
  • Possess patience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help residents and colleagues alike.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of maintaining composure under pressure and adapting to various situations.
  • *COVID-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated; vaccinations are offered based on CDC eligibility guidance.
