Job Description/Preferred Qualifications:
Product Development Engineers are essential to KLA's technological advancements. Although we do not have current openings, we are keen to connect with talented individuals in this field.We are interested in your background for future opportunities.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee multifaceted relationships within KLA and with our suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engineering Oversight: Manage engineering activities related to the next generation of existing products.
- Product Enhancement: Develop and launch new options, features, or cost-reduction strategies that enhance value for our customers.
- Customer Insight: Understand customer use-cases and collaborate with various teams to define product requirements.
- Implementation: Ensure effective release and support of product enhancements.
- Training: Provide training to Service and Manufacturing personnel.
- Technical Support: Travel to customer sites as needed to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Design Experience: Experience in mechanical, optical, electrical, or systems design, along with project oversight and troubleshooting, is highly desirable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 3 years of related experience; Master's Degree with 6 years of related experience; Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience. A PhD in Physics, Material Science, Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
