Position Overview

The Goddard School of Houston (Greenway/Upper Kirby) is in search of a dedicated Lead Teacher who is passionate about fostering a positive learning environment for young children. Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise children during both indoor and outdoor activities to guarantee their safety.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is advantageous.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool environment is preferred.
  • Completion of state-required pre-service training is necessary.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. in relation to child care.
