Material Handler

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at SPX. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in supporting our production operations by ensuring that materials and parts are properly stocked, set up, and delivered to the production floor.

• Stock part bins and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Set up layout carts and ensure efficient material flow
• Unload sheet metal and lumber, and put away miscellaneous parts and elements
• Assist in shipping and receiving as needed
• Remove empty pallets, crates, and boxes from the production floor
• Empty trash and maintain a clean and organized production area

• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
• Prior forklift experience and certifications a plus
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

The employee will be regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will frequently be required to walk and talk or hear. The employee will occasionally be required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
