About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Adams Place Independent Living. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and store dishes, flatware, utensils, pots/pans, and other kitchen items in a clean and organized manner.
  • Clean and sanitize the dish machine and dish room to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Scrape, stack, wash, and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots/pans, and other kitchen items.
  • Wrap flatware as needed and bus tables in the dining room.
  • Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • A sincere interest in food service and a willingness to work with seniors and other healthcare patients.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic and modified consistency diets and the ability to prepare and serve patient trays.
  • Knowledge of correct sanitation and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks daily and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work under supervision.
  • Basic computer skills are beneficial but not necessary.
  • Must be in good mental and physical condition.
