Multisystemic Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced therapist to join our Fredericksburg MST Team at National Counseling Group, Inc.

This is an evidence-based program that focuses on a well-researched community-based treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their families.

The ideal candidate will have mental health clinical training and experience, and will be able to blend the best clinical treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and family therapy modalities within the MST model.

• Perform assessments of family strengths and needs, define problematic behaviors, and implement a treatment plan according to MST Standards.
• Empower parents and caregivers with the skills and resources needed to independently address difficulties that arise in raising adolescents and empower youth to cope with family, peer, school, and neighborhood problems.
• Conduct sessions in the family's home/community setting, working a flexible schedule based on the family's availability, school meeting and court hearing schedules.

• Licensed or Licensed Eligible
• Masters or better in Social Work or Psychology or related field
• Detail Oriented, Team Player, and Functional Expert

• Starting salary range: $60,444.00 to $63,572.00
