Key Responsibilities:
The Family/Internal Medicine Physician will be tasked with:
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations for new patients.
- Monitoring ongoing health conditions and administering appropriate treatments.
- Prescribing medications and arranging necessary diagnostic tests.
- Coordinating specialty and ancillary services as required.
- Providing educational support and clinical training for medical trainees.
- Engaging in the creation of programs focused on preventive health, immunizations, and community outreach.
- Contributing to clinical and epidemiological research initiatives, particularly concerning the elderly population.
- Participating in collaborative team efforts, including case discussions and family meetings.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited U.S. Medical School or an equivalent international institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state.
- Board Certification in Family and/or Internal Medicine.
- Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, along with fellowship training or experience in Geriatrics.
- Genuine interest in working with the elderly demographic.
- A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
