Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our ICU team at St. Marys Regional Hospital. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Perform various clinical tasks, such as EKGs, wound care, and specimen collection
  • Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification
  • 1+ years of previous experience in a healthcare setting
