Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler Language Developer to join our team at Omm IT Solutions.

About the Role:

  • Work with ALC developers to convert legacy code from ALC to JAVA.
  • Develop modernized code in JAVA.
  • Document existing logic.
  • Collaborate with an agile team to modernize existing systems.

Requirements:

  • Active IRS MBI clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree or above preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 – 8 years collective developing applications in IBM Assembler Language.
  • Experience with Requirements definitions, Development or Testing of the IRS Individual Master File or Business Master File.
  • Prior experience working on Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
