Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Transmission Technician to join our team at Clermont Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
  • Disassembling, Diagnosing and repairing vehicle.
  • Adequately explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
  • Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
  • Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
  • Maintaining an organized work area.

Requirements:

  • Automotive Service Technician experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a transmission technician.
  • ASE certification desirable.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.
