About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Professional Case Management. As a Certified Mobile Research Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting mobile visits for study participants, working collaboratively with clinical project managers, coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mobile visits for study participants, including blood specimen collection and processing, 12-Lead ECG, accessing mediports for blood draws, physical assessment, and reviewing concomitant medications and adverse events.
- Collaborate with clinical project managers, coordinators, and site personnel to ensure accurate and timely completion of visits and source documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with study participants, families, and healthcare providers to ensure successful outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research protocols, procedures, and best practices to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in pediatric care.
- Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing phlebotomy/peripheral blood draws, IVs, and subcutaneous injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred).
- One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests.
- Current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice.
- Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records, including documentation of medical history and medication charting.
- Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Current CPR certification and TB test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair.
- Ability to speak other languages.
