About the Department

The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences has approximately 530 undergraduate and 115 graduate students, 24 full-time and 4 part-time faculty, 2 full-time academic advisors, and 2 civil service staff. The department is accredited by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) and offers six undergraduate programs as well as a number of master's level programs, sequences, and a graduate certificate.
