Job Title: Med Surg RN - Registered Nurse

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at a partnering hospital in Sitka, Alaska.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Med Surg Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Med Surg RN, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with the healthcare team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing assessments, and developing care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Current RN License in Alaska or Compact RN License where applicable.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • 1-2 years of recent relevant nursing experience.
  • Tele course preferred.
