Highway Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Operations Specialist to join our team. As a member of our operations team, you will partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor on extended runs and have a valid Class A commercial drivers license. Key requirements include a safe driving record, valid DOT Medical Certification Card, and ability to work away from home in a five-day work week.

• You will run loads between XPO facilities, navigate various routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
• Operate various tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

The successful candidate must be able to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Safely climb in/out of tractor cab/trailer.
• Sit for extended periods in a truck tractor.
• Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.

• A competitive salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year (estimated), depending on experience and qualifications.
• Weekly pay, mileage pay of $0.455 per mile, hourly pay of $33.07 for en route waiting times.
