Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Estimator to join our vibrant team in the restoration sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering precise and prompt estimates for construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in construction estimating, excellent customer service abilities, and familiarity with Xactimate software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate accurate and timely estimates for construction projects utilizing Xactimate software
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to fulfill all project specifications
  • Effectively communicate with clients to resolve any inquiries or concerns
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to evaluate project needs and identify potential challenges
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to ascertain the scope of work and necessary materials
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and proposals for clients
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure pricing and availability of materials and services
  • Maintain meticulous records of all estimates and project-related documentation
  • Participate in meetings with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders as needed

Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience in commercial and restoration estimating
  • Proficient in Xactimate software
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
