Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to transport products promptly to our customers. The ideal candidate will represent our company in a professional manner, ensuring high customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a delivery scanner at each stop.
  • Collect, sign, and accurately code all invoices.
  • Transport products on ramps, stairs, and/or docks.
  • Place products in designated customer delivery areas.
  • Use an electronic log system to track stops and locations.
  • Maintain sanitary conditions and adhere to standard hygiene requirements.
  • Verify credit terms at each stop and collect funds when necessary.
  • Submit a reconciliation sheet with collected funds and invoices to the Returns Clerk daily.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
  • Safely operate and deliver products within assigned route schedules using hand carts or by hand.
  • Notify supervisors and sales teams of any delivery variances via the driver log/tracking system.
  • Comply with all traffic rules and report accidents or damages immediately.
  • Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem-solving skills, reporting customer issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Holds a Class A CDL.
  • Has at least one year of commercial driving experience.
  • Demonstrates basic math skills.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills (with internal team members and customers).
  • Meets all DOT requirements and holds a current medical card.

The salary for this position is $30.00 per hour until switched to incentive after training.

**Estimated Annual Salary:** $62,400 - $65,600 (dependent on hours worked)
