Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Next GenHealth Staffing.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilator management and cardiac monitoring.
  • Respond to Code Blue situations within the facility and initiate protocol as needed.
  • Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for examination, and arranging for testing and admissions.
  • Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
  • Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
  • Ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when necessary.
Job Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification preferred and required within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
  • Prior ICU nursing experience strongly preferred.

Compensation: Min - $28.23, Mid - $35.29, Max - $42.35
