Art Conservation Specialist

Cleveland Clinic is a world-renowned healthcare organization, and as an Art Conservation Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our facilities. This position requires a skilled individual to apply paint, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property.
Key Responsibilities- Apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment, and property.
- Prepare surfaces by washing, taping, mudding, patching, scraping, sanding, torching, and/or smoothing prior to applying finishes.
- Maintain existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting appropriate paint products.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition and properly store, clean, and dispose of all materials, supplies, equipment, and waste.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience painting in a healthcare environment.
- Has completed an apprentice program OR four years of on-the-job training.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
