Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents according to their established care plans and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Work under the direction of a licensed nurse to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
  • Monitor residents for medication side effects and report any concerns to the team nurse.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote resident independence and dignity.
  • Participate in report at the beginning of each shift to ensure seamless communication with the team.
  • Document medication administration and other care activities accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of geriatric experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
