Responsibilities- Administer medications to residents according to their established care plans and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Work under the direction of a licensed nurse to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
- Monitor residents for medication side effects and report any concerns to the team nurse.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote resident independence and dignity.
- Participate in report at the beginning of each shift to ensure seamless communication with the team.
- Document medication administration and other care activities accurately and thoroughly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of geriatric experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
