Commercial Lending Specialist

Cadence Bank is seeking a skilled Relationship Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Solicit business from potential and existing customers to include loans and deposits.
• Interview commercial applicants and process loan applications.
• Analyze applicant's financial status and credit to determine feasibility of granting loan.
• Prepare appropriate loan documentation and verify loan agreements are complete and accurate according to bank policy.
• Approve loans that meet established lending criteria and are within approved lending limits.
• Maintain customer relationships and manage a portfolio of consumer and commercial loans.
• May coordinate some collection efforts.
• Provide and maintain a professional, business-like atmosphere within the banking division.
• Represent the financial institution in public relations activities and community affairs.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Sales oriented.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 - 6 years experience in a financial institution as a commercial lender.
• Knowledgeable of laws and regulations applicable to lending practices.
