The Clinical Educator in Nursing will conduct educational assessments to identify the learning needs of nursing staff. This role involves:
- Assessing, designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs aimed at enhancing knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
- Creating educational experiences for both novice and seasoned team members by integrating theoretical knowledge with evidence-based practices.
- Evaluating the outcomes and effectiveness of educational initiatives.
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional variable night shifts.
- Location: Inova Mount Vernon Hospital.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing within the specified specialty; at least 3 months of experience as a preceptor.
- Certification: BLS certification from the American Heart Association; must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or hold an active multi-state RN License.
