Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry for the Cardiac Med 4A unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred Certification: ACLS
- Position available for an RN focused on Cardiac Telemetry.
- Shift hours are nights from 19:00 to 07:00 on a rotational basis.
- Weekly guaranteed hours can be either 36 or 48, to be specified upon submission.
- Assignment duration ranges from 13 to 22 weeks, also to be specified upon submission.
- Weekend shifts will be required based on facility needs.
- No on-call duties are associated with this position.
- Current RN License is required, eligible or licensed in the state of Missouri.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Telemetry for inpatient care is essential.
- Required certifications include BLS from AHA, with the candidate needing to have 4 trauma credits completed or to obtain them within the first two weeks from the start date, and NIHSS (which may be obtained prior to start if not already acquired).
- ACLS from AHA is a preferred certification.
- Shift: Nights, 19:00 - 07:00
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
- Assignment Length: 13-22 weeks
- Weekend Hours: As required by facility.
- Number of Beds: 32
- Patient Ratios: Varies by day and night shifts.
- Equipment: Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment.
- EMR System: EPIC.
- Desired Traits: Determined, decisive, and flexible.
- Utilizes the nursing process for patient care, ensuring professional accountability.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
- Coordinates patient care with other departments.
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
