Your Role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at PARS Therapy, you will identify and meet patients' goals and needs, providing assigned services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility, reducing the need for medications and providing alternatives to surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques, including exercise programs tailored to patients' specific needs.
  • Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions.
  • Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally.
  • Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Evaluate effects and monitor progress, communicating results to patients and healthcare teams.
  • Document patient care services accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • P_TA Certification for the state of TX.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Home Health or Rehab experience preferred.
  • Multi-disciplinary collaboration for patient care.
  • Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments.
