Job Summary

This position is responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and managing enterprise storage solutions for Yuma County, AZ. The ideal candidate will have experience with storage area networks, cloud-hosted environments, and data storage technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement storage solutions to meet the strategic goals of Yuma County, AZ
  • Manage and maintain storage area networks and cloud-hosted environments
  • Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to select and evaluate storage solutions
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members
  • Develop and maintain documentation of storage environments and solutions
Requirements
  • 60 semester hours of post-high school coursework in computer science, management information systems, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in enterprise storage management and implementation
  • Knowledge of storage area networks, cloud-hosted environments, and data storage technologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field
  • Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Storage Networking Certification Program or equivalent storage industry recognized certification
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of storage technologies and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires regular and reliable attendance, as well as the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
