We are engaged in the maintenance and operation of advanced military aircraft, specifically the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG and the United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E, stationed at a prominent military base in Idaho. Employees at this location are governed by a Union/Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that outlines employment conditions and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities of the Aerospace Armament Systems Specialist:

  • Conduct End-of-Runway (EOR) operations and manage weapon expediter tasks in accordance with relevant Air Force regulations, including monitoring weapon usage and overseeing armament systems maintenance and loading activities.
  • Install and detach all armament Alternate Mission Equipment (AME) and Normally Installed Equipment (NIE) to facilitate other maintenance or repair actions, including conducting acceptance and transfer inspections.
  • Execute troubleshooting and repair tasks on aircraft, along with performing functional checks on armament systems and conducting Dash-6 inspections on in-use AME.
  • Maintain qualifications and certifications on munitions as per the Test & Training Munitions List (TTML).
  • Ensure proficiency in designated weapons-related tasks for the RSAF, including the installation and removal of P5 pods or similar equipment.
  • Supervise the loading and unloading of aircraft, ensuring that RSAF weapons technicians are adequately trained in all aspects of these operations.
  • Perform duties as outlined by applicable Air Force Instructions (AFIs) and undertake any related functions typically associated with the Armament Systems Specialist career field.
  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Manager or Site Manager.

About You

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of prior experience in Aircraft Armament Systems weapons loading and maintenance or similar roles.
  • Previous experience with F-15 aircraft is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • This role requires normal physical capabilities.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and climbing may be necessary.
  • Regular lifting and carrying of items weighing up to fifty pounds, with assistance for heavier items.
  • Work may involve positions on top of or beneath equipment, including within the cockpit of the F-15.
  • Normal color and depth perception, along with a stable emotional state, are required.
  • Exposure to moderate discomforts such as heat, cold, and wind may occur.
  • Personal protective equipment may be required in hazardous areas.
  • Work environments include office settings, hangars, and flight lines, with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud.
