Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in the Plastic Surgery/Dermatology department. As a surgical first assist, you will work closely with our plastic and reconstructive surgery team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients, demonstrating clinical expertise and advanced knowledge.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health problems within the specialty area of practice.
- Collaborate and consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the area of clinical expertise.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive appraisals of patients' health status by taking health histories and performing physical examinations in the specialty area.
- Provide primary prevention strategies and management of stable health problems.
- Provide specialty care to assigned patients, including both stable and unstable chronic health problems.
- Establish diagnoses for common short-term or chronic health conditions.
- Evaluate patients to determine their need for further healthcare.
- Document in the medical record all care provided and/or procedures performed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Minimum of one year of PA experience in Plastics/Dermatology.
