Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Radiology Associates of Hartford PC.

Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the radiologist, the CT Technologist will provide diagnostic services for patients of all ages undergoing CT scans in the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions and routine procedural protocols
  • Administer contrast materials, prepare and operate CT scan equipment, associated software and equipment, and position patients to capture the appropriate images
  • Document all patient-related information in the radiology information system in a timely manner
  • Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and safety
  • Provide coverage as needed and instruct/mentor new hires
Requirements:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (RTR), CT certification required within 12 months of employment
  • Two years of CT scan technologist experience
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
